The staff of the Special Telecommunications Service is composed of both military and civilian employees who carry out their activities in compliance with the law and the general military regulations. The staff of the Special Telecommunications Service is apolitical, politically impartial, it is not empowered to gather, store and analyze information, activities which are specific to the intelligence services and, according to the law, it may not intercept communications. On the contrary, it must ensure the confidentiality of the special telecommunications. As a matter of fact, any penetration of, damage to / or halt in the activity of the special telecommunications network, as well as any interception of the communications in this network are threats to the national security. The Special Telecommunications Service applies national security measures in its field of activity in compliance with the legislation in force. |
