The leadership of the
Special Telecommunications Service is ensured by a director, having the rank of a
State Secretary appointed by the Supreme Council of National Defence, on the basis of its
president’s proposal. The Director of the Special Telecommunications Service reports
to the Supreme Council of National Defense with respect to the activities carried out by
the service and must submit yearly reports thereto. In performing the duties incumbent
upon him, the Director is assisted by the First Deputy Director, who acts also as his
substitute, as well as by two Deputy Directors.
